I would like to generate a floor plan for a passive certified house. The south facing part looks out on creek reserve. The north west is overlooked by other houses and needs to be screened out. We want winter sun entry on the north side. The garage of 8metres x 11metres is at the western end of the building, entered from the west. The long axis of the house runs from west south west to north north east. We need two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a sewing / activities room. An external access toilet. Elderly living friendly. Single level throughout. Envisioned to be 200 square metres to 250 square metres. A mud room and butlers pantry are required.

Create a 2D floor plan for a 456 m² lot. The lot is on a corner, where the longest side measures 33 meters and the inner width measures 14 meters. In this plan, I’d like an open-concept kitchen integrated with a very spacious living room, where the living-room wall facing the 33-meter side would be completely made of glass so it can open up and connect to the pool, which will sit next to the gourmet area. On one side of the living room, I’d like a small private hallway leading to two suites opposite each other, one of them larger to also fit a walk-in closet. Both suites should be in a separate interior space from the living room to ensure privacy. On the other side of this living room/common central area, another hallway should lead to two more rooms: a home office opposite a TV room, with a half-bath at the end of the hallway. Additionally, I’d like a small service/laundry area to be created in the “back” part of the lot, with access to the living room. The idea is to keep the kitchen and living room fully integrated, with no dividing walls.
